2015 Pinot Noir Heritage
Sourced from estate vines first planted in 1984, this outstanding new release begins with bright aromas of peat moss, orange zest and red currant. Bright and wonderfully balanced, the wine shows off red and dark fruits with earthy undertones and good tension. Drink 2018-2030. 91 points.

Wine Profile
Tasting Notes
Rainier cherry, cranberry and raspberry aromas, with cinnamon and clove on the nose. Very spicy on the palate, with the cranberry and clove following though, with tart cherry and cardamom notes. This wine is nicely balanced with mouthwatering acidity and balanced tannins. Will pair beautifully with earthy dishes, and will cellar for 10+ years.

Winemaker Notes
The grapes were harvested by hand and destemmed 1.5-ton bins. After a 5-day cold soak, fermentation began. The vats were pumped over and punched down twice daily until dry, then pressed. The wine settled overnight, then racked to 25% new French oak barrels for 19 months to age until bottling.
Food Pairing Notes
Grilled salmon with a pepper crust, roast chicken, turkey, or game birds, rack of lamb, roast pork with herbs and fennel. Dishes with mushrooms of any variety.
