2014 Pinot Noir Dijon 115
This excellent Pinot Noir wine underwent 25% whole cluster fermentation and is a wonderful wine made by Kim Kramer. There are deep flavors of forest floor, wild mushroom, peat moss, and wet rock with black cherry and black tea elements. The mid-palate has nice weight and lively structure as the wine yields flavors of black tea, forest floor, black olive tapenade and baking spices. Drink 2017-2025- 90

Wine Profile
Tasting Notes
Aromas of cranberry, violet, and cola. On the palate, this youthful, old world style wine, light acidity and integrated tannins, easy on the palate with a nice earthiness punctuated by pie cherries and plums.
Winemaker Notes
The grapes were harvested by hand and 75% destemmed. The fruit underwent a 5-day cold soak. After fermentation began, the must was pumped over and punched down twice daily until dry and pressed. The wine settled in a tank overnight, and was then racked to 25% new French oak barrels to age for 13 months until bottling.
